Residency Program

Scholarly Activities

At Baptist Hospitals, we are engaged in novel and expanded research, to discover and provide the most up-to-date and modern treatment options for our patients. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been regional leaders in investigation of frontline treatments, including convalescent plasma, Remdesivir, and Aviptadil (RLF-100). The work of our investigators has led to survival rates that rival leading medical centers across the nation. Throughout the program, our residents will be exposed to novel treatments and leading-edge medicine that will produce life-changing and life-saving results.

Many of our current trials are focused on oncology and chronic disease conditions, which affect our surrounding communities. We are also committed to investigating new prognostic indicators and treatment methods that will bring revolutionary changes to the field of medicine. At Baptist Hospitals, you are not simply learning to practice medicine, you are helping to shape the future of medicine in the 21st Century.
